Oil seal can be generally categorized into3 major types which include design of rubber outer diameter, metalouter diameter and metal outer diameter with inner case. 

seals types:

1)With spring type secures stable sealing performance(incluingTA,TB,TC,SA,SB,SC).

2)Rubber O.D wall type provides stable sealing performancearound the seal O.D surface(including TC,SC).

3)metal O.D wall type ensures improved fitting retention betweenthe seal O.D and the housing bore(including TB,SB).

4)Reinforcing inner metal case in the metal O.D wall typeprotects the main lip(including TA,SA).

5)With minor lip type is applied for the application where thereare many contanimants at the air side(back face side)(includingTA,TB,TC).

NBR material characterstics.

Buna-N 70 durometer compound is the standard material for ourseals and is recommended for a majority

of common applications. Nitrile lip seals work well within thetemperature range of -65°F to 250°F and provide compatibility withwater and most common mineral oil and greases.
