The three-phase asychronous disk brake motor is a new type ofmotor, which is completely enclosed and cooled by itself. The three-phaxs asynchronous disk brake motor is different fromthe traditional three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage motor instructure. Its stator and rotor are made up of two disk cores. Adisk brake device is attached to the rotor so that this motor iscompact in structure. There are two types of motor, one is equippedwith a hand-operated clutch, while the other without a handoperated clutch. The motor can be started quickly and stopped rightafter the power is off. Flange mounting is employed when the motoris fixed.
