Characteristics and Application:
HOT700Series insulating glass butyl sealant is a polyisobutylene-basedmaterial as a single component, solvent-free, permanent plasticprimary sealant for insulating glass. Because of its excellent UVresistance, good air tightness, low water vapor transmission,constitutes a superior moisture resistance and inert gas exchangesystem together with other flexible sealant (second sealingsealants like polysulfide, silicone, etc.), to protect the life ofinsulating glass.
Special Note:
1. Thisproduct is thermoplastic material, please pay special attention toshorten the time of the aluminum spacer coated with thesealant with glass pieces to ensure a good bond with the glassearly in low winter temperatures.
2. Theproduct may be incompatible with some silicone sealant (siliconesealant for second sealing in insulating glass, silicone for doorsand windows, silicone for wall), compatibility test should becarried out.
Storage andTransportation???
HOT700series insulating glass butyl sealant is the primary insulatingglass hot melt sealant, should be stored in a cool dry place,storage shelf life of two years, storaged in the environment at10-20 ??? for 10-15 days before using to ensure the sametemperature inside and outside, especially in the winter. It isnon-dangerous, applicable to all transportations.
