Triacontanol Introduce

Triacontanol is a fatty alcohol of the general formula C30H62O,also known as melissyl alcohol or myricyl alcohol. It is found inplant cuticle waxes and in beeswax. Triacontanol is a growthstimulant for many plants, most notably roses, in which it rapidlyincreases the number of basal breaks. Triacontanol is a naturallyoccurring plant growth promoter which can act as a photosynthesisenhancer. Since light is a primary source of nutrition, thebenefits of using triacontanol are obvious. It will also increasecell division rates leading to production of larger root and shootmass. When sprayed on plants during growth periods, it activatessecondary messengers leading to enhanced enzymatic activities inplants.
