The total cost of LED street lights is similar to thatof high-end street lights but provides the additional benefits ofenergy saving, no pollution and increased stability.
COMPARISON BETWEEN LED STREET LIGHT AND TRADITIonAL STREETLIGHTSNowadays 250W and 400W high pressure sodium lights arecommonly used for street lights. We recommend the use of 80W and160W semiconductor street light as alternatives. For distributorroads, side roads, pedestrian paths 25W~60W semiconductor streetlights can be used. For roads which are not in the shade of tallbuilding or trees, solar energy, wind-solar hybrid oroptical-electricity hybrid can be chosen. If semiconductor streetlights are used, 60% energy saving can be achieved with 10 yearsservice life, which will substantially decrease the ongoingmaintenance requirements.
