The cable is used in electric transmission and distributionsystem operating at rate voltage of 0.6/1, 6/10, 8.7/10, 18/30,26/35KV.
XLPE insulated power cable has a number of advantages over paperinsulated and PVC insulated cable. XLPE power cable has highelectric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resisting,environmetal stress resisting antichemical corrossion, and it issimple construction, using convenient and higher operating of longterm temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.
This series cable is mainly laid indoor, cable slot, directburial, channel, mining well and water condition. This series cablehas the following characteristics. The Max. Rated temperature ofthe conductor is 70 degree. The Max. Temperature of the conductorof the cables can''t exceed 160 degree.
Various of flame-retardant and non-flame retardant XLPE cablecan be manufactured with three technology (peroxide, silane andirradiation crosslinking). The flame-retardant cable covers allkinds of low-smoke low-halogen low-smoke halogen free, andnon-smoke nonhalogented and three classes of A, B, C.
