2Principle of operation

Material is fed form the hopper at a controlled rate on thecomveyor. As the belt travels around the roll, magnetic particlesare influenced by competing centrifugal and magnetic forces. theyare thrown from the belt, at a position on the roll where thecentrifugal force overcomes the magnetic forces.
