SUKAMY-TX550Amylase Enzyme Used forTextile Destarch INTRODUCTION:Starch, a high polymeric carbohydrate is a mixture of twopolysaccharide, such as amylose and amylopectin. Starch conversionenzyme can change the internal structure of starch, which willdecrease the starch viscosity, thereby meeting the requirement intextile destarch.SUKAMY-TX550 is an Amylumconversion enzyme derived from the submerged fermentation ofBacillus subtilis. It is mainly used in textile destarch,especially for destarch of silk, chemical fibre andlinsey-woolsey.BENEFITS:The benefits of using SUKAMY-TX550 for modifyingoriginal starch are easier operation technics and lower cost. Withnon-pollution, the product can save the chemical product dosage andnever damage the fiber. Also, the product can be used at mediumtemperature which can save energy. CHRACTERISTICS:1.SUKAMY-TX550 provides maximal benefit at pH range of5.5 – 7.0, the optimum pH is 6.0-6.4 and deactivate at pH below 5.0or high 8.0;2. The product is stable if the temperature below 60℃ andthe optimum temperature is between 45 to 65℃; the product willreact quickly at the temperature of 70-85℃ but with deactivationquickly; The product can be used the destarch process at thetemperature below 70℃;Unit definition: The amount of enzyme needed tohydrolyze 1 mg of starch in one minute at pH 6.0 at the reactiontemperature of 60℃ and the unit can be showed as u/ml.INDUSTRY STANDARD:    This product follows the industrystandard of PRC as QB1805.1-93.APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:As different water quality, stuff containsand textile types, the production process shall be determined bythe experiment dosage as well as conditions so as to satisfy thetechniques and applications of customers''.For thick and heavy textile, it is advicethat adds non-ionic penetrant at 0.5g/L and squeezes the waterout before impregnating. Add destarch enzyme in to distributor ormachine after pH adjustment. The enzyme dosage is usually 0.5-3g/Land the dosage can be reduced properly for light and thin textile;Better effectiveness can be achieved if used together withpenetrant; PACKAGING:25 kg/plastic drumAlternative packaging is available upon request for smaller orlarger volumes. STORAGE :Store in a cool, dry place and away fromdirect sunlight. SUKAMY-TX550 maintains its activity forconsiderably longer time when stored at lower temperatures (below25℃). The product should not be frozen.HANDLING PRECAUTIONS:SUKAMY-TX550 is non-toxic and biodegradable. However,unnecessary contact with the product should be avoided. Long termexposure to protein based products such asSUKAMY-TX550 maysensitize certain individuals to the product. Wash hands with warmsoapy water after handling.
