Description:

Tempered glass in produced by heating ordinary annealed glass toits softening point and then cooling down suddenly by jets of coldair to form evenly compression on the surface layer of glass. Thusthe mechanical strength is increased by times. The surfacecompression of tempered glass exceeds 90Mpa and heat-strengthenedglass between 24-69Mpa.

Tempered glass can stand up to 300°C thermal shock which is 3times that of annealed glass.
