 Bleaching Earth is manufactured by acidactivation of calciumbentonite, showing a fine, grayish-whitepowder, having a highly porous innerstructure and a multitude ofacid sites upon its surface.It is very suitable for removal of aflatoxin,carotinoids,phospholipids and peroxides, pesticide residue, viachemisorptionand acid catalysis.With its strong absorbing,bleaching and decolorizingproperties, bleaching earth is highlyused in a wide scope of applications suchas refining vegetable andanimal oils and fats, moreover for finishing and/orreprocessingnumerous types of mineral oils, paraffin and waxes.
