Introduction

The new HA-FX40 inner ear headphones feature carbon nanotubesdiaphragms that deliver clean, crisp sound. Other key featuresinclude dual-layer housings for enhanced sound isolation, a rubberfitting stabilizer for a secure and comfortable fit, and aselection of earpieces to suit a wide range of ear shapes. Carbonnanotubes diaphragms represent a breakthrough in headphonetechnology as the material provides a balance of strength andflexibility that cannot be matched by diaphragms made from metalsor plastics. When paired the large 8.5mm driver units in theHA-FX40, the result is exceptionally crisp, detailed full-rangesound, particularly in the MID-high frequency range. Superiorexternal sound isolation and a secure fit are ensured by dual-layeraluminum-plated earphone housings and a new rubber fittingstabilizer that fits the contour of the ear. To further enhance thefit, each headphone comes with three pairs of silicone earpieces insmall, medium and large, plus a set of memory foam earpieces. Soundquality is maintained from source to ear through the use of ahigh-quality gold-plated 3.5mm plug compatible with all Appledevices, and a 3.94-foot (1.2 meters) pure oxygen-free copper (OFC)cord. A cord clip is provided to minimize cord friction noise.
