Product DescriptionREAGEN™ Aflatoxin B1 ELISA Test Kit is acompetitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis ofAflatoxin B1 in cereals, meat/fish, feed, milk ,oils,peanuts andpistachios .The unique features of the kit are:§ High recovery (>80%),rapid(10-40minutes),cost-effective extraction methods.§ High sensitivity (0.05 ng/g orppb).§ A quick ELISA assay (less than 2 hoursregardless of number of samples).§ High reproducibility.Procedure OverviewREAGEN™ Aflatoxin B1 ELISA Test Kit is based on acompetitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The toxin of interest hasbeen coated in the plate wells. During the analysis, sample isadded along with the primary antibody specific for the targettoxin. If the target is present in the sample, it will compete forthe antibody, thereby preventing the antibody from binding to thetoxin attached to the well. The second antibody, tagged with aperoxidase enzyme, targets the primary antibody that is complexedto the toxin coated on the plate wells. The resulting colorintensity, after addition of substrate, has an inverse relationshipwith the target concentration in the sample.Kit Contents, Storage and ShelfLifeREAGEN™ Aflatoxin B1 ELISA Test Kit has theAflatoxin B1acity for 96 determinations or testing of 42 samples induplicate (assuming 12 wells for standards). Return any unusedmicrowells to the foil bag and reseal them with the desiccantprovided in the original package. Store the kit at 2-8°C *. Theshelf life is 12 months when the kit is properlystored.
