Product HighlightsExclusive Dynamic M-Mode (128 Depths, 750gates)As a full digital TCD, the EMS-9UA system produces a powerful,high resolution (128 depths combined into 750 small gates) M-Modedisplay, with Doppler signals simultaneously displayed along theultrasound beam at varying depths. Up to 8 spectra at variousdepths can be simultaneously displayed with the M-Modedisplay.Real-time recording of examinations can be fully stored as rawdata and replayed – spectrum (including multi-depth spectrums)sound M-Mode related events (including HITS events). EnhancedDynamic M-Mode for all the probes and the study types allowsreviewing spectra and re-calculating indices offline for all depthsof the M-Mode window. This review function is generally notavailable on other TCD machines. The Doppler raw data can be savedas an AVI media file which can be easily transported and used onany PC.
Higher Velocity LimitThe maximum detectable velocity is up to 750cm/s for the MCAat depth of 50mm. This eliminates the anti aliasing problem presentin most TCD units and improves the accuracy for measuring highvelocity for vasospasm patients.
"Real" two channels with Professional MonitoringProgramThe EMS-9UA is a real 2- channel device; all the controlparameters including Depth, Gain, Gate, AMPL and Scale can beadjusted independently.Up to 8 analog input signals can be added and analyzedsynchronously with the TCD indices in monitoring for TCDdiagnostics, intra-operative (e.g. carotid surgery and cardiosurgery) and intensive care use. It has CO2 reactivity and VMRtesting for the determination of vasomotor reactivity and reserveof cerebral blood circulation to changes in arterial pCO2.
Sensitive DopplerAdvanced digital technology with improved detectionsensitivity. The system can detect and obtain vessel signalsquickly with high quality spectra even working at very low powerand small sample volume (≤2mm), which also improves the accuracyfor vessel localization, reliability for vessel identificationespecially working in the Multi-depth mode.
User-friendly SystemThe EMS-9UA has a configurable GUI (General User Interface),for all examination protocols and procedures. Settings can bepredefined according to user''s needs. This insures easy operation,printing of custom patient reports and storage and retrieval ofdata.
