The King is a second generation system, with the TTL-controlbased upon the Knight first released in 2009. Like the PixelKnight, it does not support the Canon wireless protocol(eg: It cannot work as ST-E2 to trigger 430EX flash in remote mode), but worksby making the remote flash think it is in the camera'shot-shoe.

It does not support the Multi stroboscopic mode. For wireless E-TTLII, the flash in the RX hot-shoe must be E-TTL II compatible.Compatible Canon Speedlites are: 580EX II, 430EX II, 320EX, 270EXII. The TX has very sparse controls. To set it up you use the camera'sexternal flash func. Setting-menu. The following Canon EOS bodiesare listed as compatible: 450D, 500D, 550D, 600D, 40D, 50D, 60D,7D, 5D II, 1D III, 1D IV, 1Ds III. Older Canon DSLRs does not letyou control the flash from the camera menu, and compatibility islimited to selecting channel and group on TX. It will then dumbdown and operate like a wireless grouping flash trigger such as thePixel Bishop.
