The X42 series limit switch (also called travel switch) is anautomatic control apparatus used to switch the circuit according tothe position of the motion part, by doing which to control themotion direction, travel size or protection of the position of themoving part. It can be divided into mechanical type and electricaltype. For now, our X42A series limit switch belongs to the former,which is mainly composed of switching component, wiring terminal,switch actuating part and transmission part. based on themechanical ON/OFF principle of the switch contact head, it can bedivided into two categories:
Slow-action switch: the switching time of the ON/OFF action isindependent of the acting speed of the switch, the faster theacting speed is, the faster the switching is.
Snap-action switch: the switching time of the ON/OFF action isdependent on the acting speed of the switch, the ON/OFF switchingis activated as soon as the switch actuating part reaches therequired position.
