1.Product Summary.
The vehicle-mountedpassenger flow counter is applied into the passenger counter withthe function of automatic statistics of the total number ofpassengers getting on an off the passenger car. The number ofpassengers is displayed on the built-in LCD display screen. Thedisplay screen data can be saved for over 2 years under thecircumstance of outage. The passenger counter data can be resetwith the key switch in order prevent from artificially destroy dataintegrity.
2.OperatingPrinciple
Respectivelyinstall the vehicle-mounted passenger flow counter andbaffle-board at the two sides of the car door. When there nopassengers going on and off, the infrared signal launched by thebuilt-in launcher of the vehicle-mounted passenger flowcounter reflects and is received through baffle-board and theinfrared signal strength is strong enough and can penetrate throughthe glass of car door. Therefore, the vehicle-mountedpassenger flow counter and baffle-board can be installed behind theglass of car door, but it’s necessary to purchase door contactswitch component separately to be used in case of errors arisingfrom the activity of filter car door. When the passengers keep outthe infrared signals reflected by the baffle-board while getting onand off, the vehicle-mounted passenger flow counter will countthe number of the direction of getting on or off once according tothe direction that the passengers keep out the infrared signal. Thedata will be displayed through LCD display screen according to theset direction.
3.InstallationRequirements
1. The vehicle-mounted passenger flow counter isinstalled at one side the car door that is as high as 800-1300mmaway from the footboard of the car door; in case that the car dooris equipped with the multi-step footboard with large slope, it isnecessary to reduce the installation height. It should be installedaccording to the actual gesture chest height of the passengers whengetting on the car, but it should not be installed in the positionfor the fixed installation with the scope of the activity of thedoor leaf of the car.
2. The distance between the baffle-board and the passengerflow counter should not longer than 3000mm.
3. In case that the car door footboard refers to thestair-type footboard, it is necessary to appropriately reduce theinstallation height to ensure the passenger flow counter isappropriately in the position of the chest of passengers when theyget on the car and their body bends forward.
4.Installation of baffle-board
Aftercompleting installation of passenger flow counter, installbaffle-board according to the position corresponded by that ofpassenger flow counter. Baffle-board is applied to reflect theinfrared beam launched by the passenger flow counter in order thatthe passenger flow counter could detect the infrared beam signal.The infrared beam is invisible light. Whether the baffle-board isin the correct position can be determined according to the two LDindicator lamps on the panel, which is as shown by the followingFig.:
Whenbaffle-board is within the scope of infrared beam, the two actionindicator lamp on the passenger flow counter panel will be off,through which whether the baffle-board is in the correct positioncan be determined.
5.Count testing
Whenthe passengers get on the car and pass by the testing side betweenthe passenger flow counter and baffle-board, the counting indicatorlamp of the passenger counter will flash once and the countingindicator lamp will indicate according to different walkingdirections.
