Itcan support 8 GEPON PON ports and connect 512 remote ONU mostly (by1:64 splitter), and provides 8 GE optical/electrical uplinkinterfaces.   FD2000s is usually installed in terminal room or operation center, connecting the user CPE ONU through ODN network. On the network layers, it is on the upper edge of access network, between the user and aggregation layer equipment. According to different user situation, the products could meet the requirement of network access such as FTTB, FTTC, FTTH, etc . it provides users with data broadband access and IP integrated service access. 

1.Product Overview

FD2000S is 2U chassis with built-in dust filter , fan groups and double 220V or 48V power supply modules ,  an necessary switch control card with 8 uplink slots (copper or optical 1G SFP optional ) ,1 console port and 1 management port  ,4 PON card slots (each pon card has 2 PON ports ,so 8 PON ports in total ).FD2000S could support 256 ONU within 20KM at 1:32 splitting ratio or 512 ONU within 10km at 1:64 splitting ratio.

2.Functional Features

² Moderate density, flexible networking

FD2000S EPON platform provide 8 PON ports on the 2U chassis. It is able to connect 256 ONU (split ratio 1:32) within 20KM area, and max connect 512 ONU(split ratio 1:64). The service PON card in FD2000S chassis could be configured flexibly according to your service quantity, 4 types of service maximally. 

² Highly reliable chassis

FD2000S chassis is designed with the advanced industrial concept. All the modules are hot pluggable, supporting on-line replacement. The modularized redundant power design, modularized redundant fan, removable fan filter net design provide reliable and stable power supply, good heat dissipation, good dust filtering to make the chassis work well and stably in even bad environment..

 

² Two layer convergence switching

FD2000S switch board provides strong two layer linear switching and completely support  layer-two protocol. The uplink switch board offers 8 uplink ports. It could support max 8G broadband through port bounding function, and able to provide system with non-blocking forward. The uplink port uses SFP slot for either optic or copper access which is more flexible for users networking. 

 

 

² QOS guarantee

FD2000S OLT uses DBA (dynamic broadband allocation) based on hardware. 

OLT unit could provide flexible broadband allocation for users, supporting configuration of minimum guaranteed broadband and maximum allowed broadband.

 

² Abundant OAM function

FD2000S system support ONU auto-discovery, auto-registration; support automatic loop back test for single link; support VLAN both based on port and protocol; support IGMP Proxy, snooping; support ACL filtering based on port, packet classification, flow control and flow shaping based on port, etc. 

 

² Completed network management functions

FD2000S EMS is designed based on C/S framework, which is of completed management functions. Support TELNET/CLI management, Support in-band, out-band management.
