2. General introduction
THT-ZT neutral grounding resistor cabinet (NGR or NER) are employed in medium-voltage AC distribution networks to limit the current that would flow through the neutral point of a transformer in the event of an earth fault. It connected between the neutral point of the transformer and the earth.

A. Earthing transformer or grounding transformer
When the transformer windings adopt delta connection and a Zigzag connecting, Grounding transformer needs to be separately installed, the THT-ZT-type neutral grounding resistor cabinet can be matched.
B. Intelligent control units.
