The utility model discloses a novel nylonair-tight and waterproof zipper which comprises a zipper belt andzipper teeth, wherein, the nylon zipper teeth are arranged on ahigh-strength terylene mesh belt, a layer of TPU (thermoplasticpolyurethane) is arranged on the zipper belt and the zipper teethwhich are arranged at the front face of the zipper, the TPU layeris leaked into the gap of the zipper belt to form a mixing layerwith the zipper belt, and the half side of each zipper tooth issafely coated and protected by the TPU (thermoplasticpolyurethane). When the zipper teeth are closed, the peripheral TPU(thermoplastic polyurethane) of the zipper teeth is tightlycombined together, the gap of the zipper can be well sealed withupper zipper teeth and lower zipper teeth, the thickness of the TPUlayer of the zipper tooth is larger than that of the TPU layer ofthe zipper belt, and a convex edge is formed by adapting the TPU tocoat and by the integral design. The utility model has theadvantages of durability, low cost, water and air resistance,ultraviolet ray resistance, corrosion prevention, ageing andabrasion resistance, and the like.

Tightness

The SZIP Waterproof will hold 100 mbar airpressure. The SZIP Waterproof is less air-tightthan the SZIP Waterproof but is easier to open orclose. Heavy bending may cause leakage. Please try to avoid!

Maintenance

The SZIP Waterproof is highly resistant todamage caused by dirt or sand. However if dirt or sand are present,the zipper should be cleaned with soap and water. Dirt particlescan affect the sealing function if they get caught between theteeth chains. If the SZIP Waterproof closure isused to protect life or sensitive material, the sealing functionand cleanness of the chain area should be double checked prior toevery usage.

Operating Force

For the sealing function the SZIP Waterproofrequires a fairly strong pull of the slider. Please allow aslightly higher pulling force as compared to regular zippers. A wetsurface or lubricant on the outer flanges of the sealing profilereduces the pulling force greatly.
