Introduction: Finger Touch ProjectorBefore the Laser Image Calibration Technology, interactiveprojectors mainly adopt Optical Technology or TI PointblankTechnology, Neither of them can support Finger Touch. After thetwo-year research and development, we successfully developed aninnovative technology: Laser Image Calibration Technology---LICT.This technology has been applied to the short focus projectors andeven ultra short focus projectors. When the projector adopts thistechnology, it will support finger touch and multi-touch. No needelectronic whiteboard, users can use finger or any non-transparentobjects to control the computer, writing, making note and all theoperation as normal interactive whiteboards.
*How it works
The modules come in two parts: emitter and sensor. Emitter can beattached on any flat surface like wall, Board, etc. It emitsinfrared laser on the projection surface which is about 1mm thickand parallel with the projection screen, 1-2mm above from thescreen. when the fingers or any non-transparent objects touch thisvirtual surface, the light will be reflected and detected by thesensor at the top. Computer will figure out the position of themouse by high accurate calculation of light position.
