Thermoplasticpolyurethanes (abbreviated TPU) are a class of polyurethaneplastics with many useful properties, including elasticity,transparency, and resistance to oil, grease and abrasion.Technically, they are thermoplastic elastomers consisting of linearsegmented block copolymers composed of hard and softsegments.
