Itfinds use as a Flame retardantin ABSand other plastics, a flocculant in theproduction of titaniumdioxide and is sometimes used in the production of glass,paint and adhesives. It is alsoused as an ion-exchange resin for a number ifcations in acidic solution including Na (especially for theirselective retentions); and as a polymerizationand oxidation catalyst.
