Characteristics of Ultra Violet ray Water disinfect device Introduction:

It is known that the most convenient and low cost method to kill germs is using ultra violet ray within solar ray. Human being was using it everyday since ancient but they didn't know it is ultra violet ray.
There are more than 200 years since ultra violet ray was found but no one knew it could be used on disinfecting germs until 1877, doctor Niels Ryberg Finsen, A Danish Scientist who found out to expose some specified skin disease under solar ray would be healed much faster, who spent most of his life wanted to find out this possibility.
Ultra Violet ray is an invincible light within the solar ray separate into 3 band: A (UVA), B (UVB), C (UVC); The most effective band is C band (UVC ) which wave length is 253.7 nM

Installation and user's manual:
1. To avoid the device falling down, please use a clip to fix it properly.
2. Plug the UV light tube into blaster, which has 4 sockets then insert through nut.
3. Connect water inlet and outlet to water supply, visual inspect if there is any water leakage, do not supply power unless there is no any leakage.
4. Warning beep sound will occur and warning indicator will light if the UV tube is damaged or misplaced.

Maintainance:

1. Do not see the UV tube directly when the device is functioning to avoid hurt your eyes.
2. If you install the device vertically, please keep water outlet is higher than inlet to reduce the speed of water flow as well as to increase the effect of UV ray.
3. Please add limitation unit if the water pressure or flow is too high.
4. Please add an one-way valve if water pressure exceeds 3kg in order to protect the Quartz tube.
5. If the constant shut electromechanical valve is used together, please connect this valve to water inlet.
6. Please add a filter in front of water inlet if the water is too muddy.
7. Clean Quartz tube every 4-6 month and check is there is any damage.

How to clean:

1. Shut down power, take out UV tube, unscrew the nuts on both side, take out quartz tube, clean the tube, put the tube back where it was, fasten the nuts, put in UV tube then turn power on. (Do not forget the rubber ring)
2. Use pH7 soap or lemon acid to clean the Quartz tube, use alcohol wipe the tube after you clean it. Check if there is any water leakage after installation.
