The outer casing material is ABS plastic. It has good gloss and impact strength. It could bear the low temperature. The thermal deformation temperature of the material is 93 centigrade to 118 centigrade, so it can work in the most environments. But the material is lack of the weather resistance. Ultraviolet will cause the degradation of ABS. If used outdoors, the impact strength will half down.
The inner section is made of brass.
