New Type Liquid Gas Separator

Liquid-gas separator of drilling liquid is solids control equipment used to provide pre-degassing to gas cut drilling liquid. It is mainly used to clear away big bubbles of φ3-φ25mm. The liquid gas separator adopts bottom-sealing structure. It features simple structure, reasonable flow, big disposal capacity, high degassing efficiency, convenient transportation,  installation and service, etc.

Principle of work

Gas cut drilling fluid flows into separator through inlet mouth, hitting the impact panel and dispersing on a series of inner baffles, so the exposed surface is increased, then it flows downward to form turbulent flow, and gas will be separated from drilling fluid. Free gas can be discharged from the vent at tank top. The length of gas extraction pipe should be measured and connected on site, and leads to safety area.The degasificated drilling fluid will flow into cycling tank through shale shaker.
