It can be used together with a silicon controlled rectifier to regulate the load's voltage in such a way as using phase-shift triggering to change the effective value of each exergonic waveform on the load and regulate the heating power with a continual slow voltage regulating way and, because of the action of deep voltage negative feedback, features a good regulating linearity and the smallest affection of the electric net fluctuation accordingly. Common electric meters can be used for the check of the load's current and voltage.

Installation

1. Check if the fittings are available: Two pairs of installing screws and two pairs of installing plates

2. Connect the wires to the input, output power supply and electric oven according to the right side wiring diagram (refer to the wiring diagram which is printed on product )

3. The silicon controlled rectifier must be over 600V The rated current of the silicon controlled rectifier must be over 2 times that in the actual use. The silicon controlled rectifier must be fitted with a radiator of an enough area so as to ensure it with a temperature not over 100 centi-degree in any conditions.

4. The fuses connected to the anode of the silicon controlled rectifier must be wired on the phase input terminal.

5. Take it into full consideration to prevent electric shock and the short-circuit between the silicon controlled rectifier if the radiator is electrified.

6. Connect the ammeter in series with the anode of the silicon controlled rectifier if necessary to connect it so as not to let the triggering signal go through it.

7. Keep the triggering signal lines of each phase from the regulator to the silicon controlled rectifier as short as possible and placed separated from others so as to cause the trigger of it out of control due to the mutual disturbance.

Use and adjustment

1. Turn the knob on the panel CCW and turn the "POWER" to "ON" to turn on the power switch, start working when the power indicator lights.

2. Adjust the knob on the panel to have the displayed voltage (the voltage on the load) to the desired one.

3. This regulator uses a negative feedback of voltage and it is prohibited to supply the load with half-wave DC power so as to prevent the feedback transformer inside of the regulator from burning out by the DC power on the load. Pay attention to prevent the silicon controlled rectifier from being single-side conducted at the usual use.

4. Never actuate the inductive oven, step-down transformer etc. Inductive loads so as not to damage the silicon controlled rectifier.

5. When the silicon controlled rectifier is found unable to be fully conducted or severely shaking with the output on one phase, change the output wires of this phase's triggering signal.

6. All the internal adjusting potentiometers have been well adjusted before ex-works, so do not readjust any of them at will generally.
