Self regulating heating cable is mainly used for frozen-prevention of pipe, valve and instruments. It can auto-adjust the power output according to the temperature. This self regulating characteristics occurs at every point along the length of cable, even in the overlapped point, the cable does not create hot spots or burnout. It is ideal for heating tracing in complicated heating environment. The maintenance temperature for fluid can reach 120C. It can be used in division 1, 2 hazardous (mixed gas) class locations. The set voltage is 220V.

Characteristics:

Power bus wire is two parallel soft copper wires. Macromolecule semi-conductor heating material wound around heating wire. The cable adjusts the output power according to the change of temperature after the power bus wire has power on and semi-conductor generates heater. The cable can also be cut in very short pieces and keep heating.
