Quartz yarn is made up of twisted continuous quartz filament with the diameter of 7.5 micron. It has outstanding advantages as high thermal resistance, high mechanical strength and excellent dielectric property. This yarn can be single-strand, multi-strand, or cable twist, which allows it to be used into many standard spin processes, such as, drawnwork, weaving, intertexture, transmutation, extending break-off, multi-winding, etc.
