Lanthanum Tungsten
Application: The lanthanum tungsten electrode has excellent welding performance, conductivity closest to that of 2% thorium tungsten electrode and no radioactive toxic hazard, and can be used for replacing the thorium tungsten electrode without changing any welding operation procedure. Thus, the lanthanum tungsten electrode has become the most popular substitute product for 2% thorium tungsten electrode in Europe and Japan. The lanthanum tungsten electrode is mainly used in DC welding, but also performs well when used in AC welding.

Cerium Tungsten
Cerium tungsten is suitable for inert gas shielded arc welding and plasma welding, cutting, spraying and melting of electrodes, and is an environment friendly product without radioactive pollution. It can easily realize arc starting by using very small current, and has quite small pilot arc current. Under the condition of low current DC, the cerium tungsten is quite popular, particularly in aspects of welding of pipes and small parts, intermittent welding and welding of a special number of parts, the cerium tungsten possesses better superiority.

Thorium Tungsten
With excellent comprehensive performance, the thorium tungsten electrode can bear overload current, and is widely used in America and other countries at present. But because of slight radioactive pollution, the use of the thorium tungsten electrode is limited in some aspects. The thorium tungsten electrode is commonly used for DC welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy and titanium metal.
