The digital VOA is based on a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) chip, digitally controls optical attenuation through a standard I2C serial bus interface. Using a proprietary compensation scheme, appropriate linearity can be obtained. The design for Digital Variable Optical Attenuator which with high regulation accuracy, fast response and good linearity, is based on MEMS tecnology. User can control the attenuation of optical power by digital function via I2C serial bus interface. Our product has low insertion loss and polarization dependent loss as well as outstanding reliability and stability.
