Elastomeric reinforced Bearings have many uses in both civil engineering and building applications to support either concrete or steel superstructures, where a simple, economical, effective, separation strip, capable of carrying compressive load, together with providing some translational movement and rotational capacity, is required. Applications are many and varied, but typically used under short span cast concrete slabs in bridges or pre-cast concrete plates as used in multi-level sports stadiums.
