FEP/PFA Encapsulated 'O' Rings

 FEP Encapsulated O Ring also known as Teflon® Encapsulated 'O' Ring consist of a seamless Teflon® jacket which surrounds the elastomer core providing the chemical inertness, and thus ensures sealing function and high resistance to corrosive media. Whilst the elastomer core energises the seal and provides even tension at the sealing point and thus a constant area pressure. Encapsulated seals were primarily designed to solve the growing problems of sealing corrosive fluids in industry, Development of Teflon® encapsulated seals provided designers and engineers with a seal that combined the chemical resistance of Teflon® with the resilience of rubber. Encapsulated seals are available with two types of Teflon® jacket, FEP which is standard, and PFA for more demanding applications. The energising core is available in Viton® or Silicone

TESLON Expanded PTFE Tape

 TESLON Expanded PTFE sealant tape is a spooled Joint Sealant Tape made of 100% virgin PTFE material with micro-fibrillated internal structure for excellent stability. TESLON PTFE is resistant to all chemical products and solvents with the exception of alkaline materials. It has good resistance to elevated pressures and has a high thermal stability. TESLON expanded PTFE tape is odourless and tasteless making it suitable for food application. Upon compression, it forms a thin, hard ribbon that fills in surface irregularities and creates an extremely tight seal. It is capable of withstanding a wider range of pressures, temperatures and chemical environments than any other soft gasket.

Duo Cone Seals:

Mechanical Face Seals also called as Lifetime Seals, Floating Seals, Duo cone Seals, Heavy Duty Seals and Toric Seals are designed and engineered with dynamic sealing technology for providing sealing solutions for a variety of demanding applications such as construction machinery, agricultural equipment, mining machinery, tunnel boring, drive mechanics for tracked vehicles, concrete and cement mixers and many other construction vehicles where conventional seals lack the required durability.

i-NIT is a heavy duty cast iron material which is extremely wear resistant and corrosion resistance specifically engineered and developed for our ITK® brand Mechanical Face Seals. Our mechanical face seals are manufactured from i-NIT, a heavy duty cast iron, corrosion resistant material which makes them suitable for any physical, thermal and environment stresses these seals may come across during their routine operations.
