3. General
Good mechanincal property, make surface have equal hardness after deal with it; Nice polishing , mini. roughness on the surface, deal with induration in advance. It can used directly after the mould mould machined, deal with surface induration necessity.

6. Applications:
Degree of hardness and the metallography structure are even, the cutting value and the polishing performance are outstanding, can be harden by flame, plates hardly chrome and nitriding. This mould steel can apply to general requirements of the size of the plastic mould and can be operated by electric corrosion.

AISI p20 mold steel heat treatment and hardness:
Annealing:
Heat to 720-750°C for2-4h furnace cool.
Stress relieving:
Up to 560-600°C, hold for2-4h; furnace or still air cooling.
Hardening:
Preheating to 600 - 650°C;
-Heat to harding temperature to840°C-870°C and hold at temperature.
-Cooling in oil
Hardness after hardening: HRC 51
Tempering:
To be carried out after harding in the range 580-650°C for 25mm of thickness minimum 2h
