Introduction
Corrugated metallic Gaskets are made from thin sheet metal formed into embossed concertric rings. They may be used with jointing compund or with a cord cemented into the corrugations. These are essentially line contact gaskets with the corrugations providing mechanical support to the compound or cord filling.

Corrugation provide multi-seals across the face of the gasket. Designed for applications to 35 bar. Pitch of the corrugations can be nominally 3mm or 6mm. Three concertric corrugations on each side of the gasket are the recommended standard. Where practical a flat area should be left on each side of the corrugations
