Properties
1. High purity ,excellent mirror-polished.
2. Strong corrosion resistance which surpasses S-136 and 1.2316.
3. Facilitate to the heat treatment,dimensionally stable after quenched and tempered.
4. Wear resistance is also comparable to S-136 and 1.2316 ,easy welding.At present,this steel products have been an abundant supply of mould factories using at home and abroad.Species like plates ,rods,mould blank.
5. Restistance to chemical attack, excellent wear resistanve, uniform hardness in all dimension, etch grainable and easy to machine, high surface finish and polishablity.No suitable for nitriding and chrome plating because of the high chrome content.This grade can be produced on the request by the process in hadened and tempered,soft annealed and ESR condition.
Applications
Moulds for chemically aggressive plastics and plastics contaning abrasive fillers, slit dies, profile dies, drop forging tools, blowing moulds, mould inserts, moulds and extruding tools for corrosively acting plastics such as PVC amino plastics and similar materials.
