Short augers are mainly divided into the following types:
I) Conical Rock Auger
II) Flat or Butterfly Rock Auger
III) Flat or Butterfly Clay Auger
I) Conical Rock Auger

There are two categories of conical rock augers:
1- Single Cut Auger
2- Double Cut Auger
Drilling Diameter Range: 500~2500mm
Single-cut conical rock auger

Main Applications:
1- Single Cut and Double Cut Augers are suitable for drilling in medium to strong rock (15~60 MPa)
2- Double Cut are recommended in bigger diameters uncased boreholes
