1 Brief description
Antenna-feeder SPD ZGWT10N-20N is designed and made according to Enterprise standard, Q/20184261-8.15-2002.
This product is used in the antenna-feeder system of communication equipment to restrain induction lightning wave coming from antenna and then prevent such electronic equipment from damage caused by lightning.

2 Working environment

Temperature: -40~70Degrees Celsius; Relative humidity: ≤ 95%; Atmospheric Pressure: 70kPa~106kPa.

3 Working principle

As shown in Fig 1, antenna-feeder SPD is respectively connected with antenna wire and equipment to be protected. When lightning strokes, lightning current will be discharged into earth by way of lightning current output terminal of antenna-feeder SPD, and then make the output overvoltage be in the allowable range of the protected equipment.

4 Application and Maintenance

4.1 Installation Description
4.1.1 Fix the antenna-feeder SPD on the mounting plate which shalled be located in a water-proof position with M6 screw.
4.1.2 Connect relative high frequency cables with the 2 terminals of the SPD.
4.1.3 Connect the grounding pole of SPD with the generatrices in the equipment room by way of 4mm2 copper wire which should be as short as possible. The earthing resistance od grounding mesh shall be in accordance with the relevant stipulations...

4.2 Maintenance

Special maintenance isn't required for this kind of SPD except normal check on the connection of input and output terminals with the two grounding terminals of SPD. When communication signal stops or signal transmission doesn't work normally, just uninstall SPD and then directly connect antenna wire with the protected equipment. Under such case, it shows it's time to replace or repair SPD if communication signal transmission is restored to normal working condition.
