Parallel Indexers feature two plate cams mounted as a conjugate pair.
The follower wheel has one cam follower above and another below the center line of the input, producing a preloaded locking action.
Parallel indexers are capable of producing large output displacements and low number of stops.

The DP series is the ideal indexing unit for requiring few stops, such as conveyors with relatively long feed piches or long dwell periods.
