Yaxing's Skived PTFE tapes are high-density tensilized PTFE films coated with 1.5 mils of high temperature adhesive.

i. They are used in electrical applications where heat resistance and electrical insulation are important. Application examples include use in coil and harness wraps, in transformers, separators, and slot liners.

ii.  In mechanical applications, skived PTFE tapes are used in flat die extrusions as roll protection due to these tapes' non-stick surface and high temperature resistance.

[ DEscriptION ]

PTFE Skived Film with Silicone Pressure Sensitive Adhesive - This product is a pressure sensitive tape using tensilized skived PTFE film with high temperature silicone adhesive. The tensilized film provides higher tensile strength, lower elongation, and higher dielectric strength than regular skived film.

[ APPLICATIONS ]

This tape is used primarily in electrical applications such as coil wraps and separators, transformer, slot liners and harness wrapping where good insulation and heat resistance are needed. It is also used in mechanical applications requiring high temperature resistance and a non-stick surface such as roll protection in flat die extrusion.
