    Gearbox
    Using the combination of two new designs, that is involute spline coupling and double reduction helical gear, results that TD500/1000 gearbox has many advantages such as compact structure, high output torque, long work-life and operating safety and reliability. The drill capacity of top drive is upgraded greatly.
    Double Load Path
    TD500/1000 adopts double load path to drill and triple, which avoids stress concentrating on main shaft and enhances carrying capability and prolong the life-span of the main shaft. Rotary head has a reasonable and balanceable load to endure instantaneous great load while tripping and to avoid shutdown for long time as well as reduce maintenance workload caused by rotary head damaging.
    Involute Spine Clutch Locking Assembly of Rotary Head
    Adopting involute spline clutch assembly makes rotary head locked instantaneously and makes operation more convenient. The rod of locking hydraulic cylinders doesn?ˉt suffer shear stress so that life-span of hydraulic cylinders is guaranteed.
    Retraction Mode link Tilt Assembly
    The work principle of new link tilt assembly is that: through retracting tilt cylinder rods to pull elevator links forward, which reduces the rods loading and avoids rods to be bended and even fractured.
    Deep Groove Ball Bearing IBOP Drive Assembly
    The new IBOP drive assembly with deep groove ball bearing has better axial carrying capacity and axial steering capacity. It can solve the problem of roller's abrasion as well as boost the operating safety.
