Operating Conditons

The Type 58U is a general duty,elastomer O-ring,multiple spring mechanical seal supplied in metric sizes for use in pump and other rotary shaft equipment.

It is apt for low and medium viscosity media with or without small amount of 

granules in low-and medium temperature, like light hydrocarbon, light oil, some organic  material, water, etc.

The selection of materials used in the construction of a seal should be made with regard to their temperature and chemical restistance compatibility with the liquid being pumped.
