Types of the Spiral Classifiers:

There are different classifications of the spiral chassifiers. Generally speaking, there are two types of spiral classifier: the single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier. While, the spiral classifier can be divided into another two types according to the spiral blade at the flooding end, and they are: High weir type and Immersed weir type. For high weir type, the top side of spiral blade is higher than the flooding level and the center of blade is lower than the flooding level. This type is applied to the ore with flooding size between 0.083-0.15mm. Then the immersed weir type, this type is used for classification of the ore with flooding size between 0.15-0.0
