Maintenance of the Planetary Gear Unit
Seal rings, anti-friction bearings and oil have only limited lifetime.
We recommend about 10 000 operating hours for the oil as well as the bearing greases should be changed.
As the lubricant ages in gear standstill it may become hard, a change of the lubricant, not depending on the actual operationg time, should be made at the latest after 3 years.
