Integral Blade Stabilizers are manufactured from 4145H alloy steel bar or forgings, quenched and tempered to 285-341 Brinnel hardness. Stabilizers are available in either near bit or string type.
Connections are cold-rolled, phosphatized, coated and equipped with thread protectors. These are gauged to API standards.
Rib surfaces are hardfaced with tungsten carbide plates or flush studded with tungsten carbide inserts.
