2. Material Grade
2.1 The steel used for the mould DIN17350, and the stee 21CrMo10.
2.2 Steel— making method basic arc furnace and ladle refining furnace refining melted (vacuum degassed)
2.3 Ultrasonic flaw detection
The forging of the mould will be ultrasonically tested as per JB/T1581-1996, and the grade of the detection is in the following
A. Without bursts, crack, shrinking hole and other defects.
B The defect with size within 2mm can be ignored.
C Individual defect with diameter of 2~4mm is permitted, and the distance of the neighboring defects should be more than the 10 times of the bigger one’s. For 100cm2’ s area, the quantities of the defects with diameter of φ2~φ4mm should not exceed 3.
D There should not have compact district.

4. Mechanical Properties
4.1 The place of sampling is the 1/2 of the forging’s wall thickness, and there will be two tensile test specimen in the direction of longitudinal, and the parameter of the performance is in the following table:

4.2 The method of the experiment
The tensile test as per GB/T288-2002.
5. The hardness of heat treatment HB 240~280
And the experiment of hardness is as per GB/T231.
