III. Applications:

    Our WGQ8 series soft starter are suitable for cage motors of 3-phase AC 50/60 Hz, rated working voltage is 380V, rated working power is 5.5kw ~ 550kw. It is used widely for water pumps, crushers, ball mills, fans, compressors etc.

IV. Principle

   WGQ8 series of cage motor soft starter collects current and voltage signal from motor’s stator loop, controls the   conduction state of TRIAC by special treatment , then control the motor starting current and the input power when motor is running. This can automatically track the load change of motor, adjust input power, and make the mtor start smoothly and save energy.

1. Controlled by double & single chip microcomputer, full digital control.
2. Adopt 5 pcs of LED digital display, can display the operation state with details.
3. With strong anti-interference ability, the high performance microprocessor digital control can ensure a reliable work under strong interference working conditon.
4. Six types of starting mode, suitable for many machines

           a. Voltage slope start--suitable for high inertia machines

           b. Current limit start-- suitable for machines the current is less than 70% Ie

           c. Kick start -- suitable for high static friction force

           d. Slope steady start -- suitable for high inertia and low static friction force machines

           e. Steady start -- suitable for light load machines

f. Point start-- to check the running direction of motor

     5.  Two kinds of stop mode

           a. Free stop

         b. Soft stop: The higher the setting voltage, the shorter the setting stop time, and the shorter the actual stop time.

       6. Human-machine interface: consisted by 128*64 dot matrix character LCD, 3 signal indicators, 6 simple keyboard, show the data directly, easy to operate

     7. Many kinds of protection, such as over voltage, over current, under voltage , over heat etc. which make the motor more reliable and safer.

8. With DCS remote controll interface and RS484 interface.

9. 4~20 mA standard analog current output.
