Specifications:The SLD 1500 Shaft Locking Device is available in inch and metric sizes for shaft sizes from 3/4" to 8" in stock. Larger sizes are available with sufficient leadtime. The Shaft Locking Device will attach a hub to a shaft by means of a keyless frictional mechanical interferance fit. The SLD 1500 will transmit medium high torque, is self releasing, with the axial position fixed during tightening. The benefits include no backlash, no effect from reversing loads, ability to adjust axial position, and can be adjusted radially to accomodate proper timing.
