I. POM Description
Good mechanical properties and rigidity, and close to themetal material. It’s an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc, steel,aluminum and other metal materials. Excellent fatigue resistance and creepresistance. Good abrasion resistance, self-lubricated and friction. High thermalstability, good chemical stability and excellent electrical insulation. And itcan be used in temperatures ranging from-50℃to +110℃.
II. POMCharacteristics
Advantages:
? Highsurface hardness, low abrasion consumption, impact fatigue and shock resistance, low coefficientfriction, and self-lubricating, therefore, it is the first material choice formanufacturing gear.
?Highmechanical strength and rigidity. Although the contraction rate is high, thedimension is stable.
?Gooddielectric properties, solvent resistance, non-stress cracking, no porosity.
?Torsionalresistance, it can be restored to the original shape when removing the externalforce.
?Lowwater absorption
Disadvantages:
? Poor acid resistance
?Weatherabilityis not excellent especially the UV
?Difficultto glue and paint
