CXAQ3 series automatic transfer switch (A. T. S) suits for the transfer between two powers (Primary power and secondary power), whose rated voltage is beneath 600V(AC), control voltage is under AC220V. It is the new product to replace the conventional one which is made up of AC contactor and circuit breaker, and widely used in hospitals, hotels, markets. Operation Principle
CXAQ3 series automatic: Transfer switch is real and integral design switch, not the conventional combination switch. The switch is made up of main contact system and electric & mechanical interfockers control system which can ensure two powers not be electrified at the same time. The main contact uses: Good arc extinguishing materials, such as silver tungsten alloy. Every group of main contacts has its own arc extinguish chamber. This switch can be transferred by hand.
Excitation type electromagnetism straight-line driving make the switch transfer more reliable and fast, and be astigmatic. When the switch is transferring, the coil may be electrified (the time is less than 0.1s), and when completed. The coil and other control parts are out of electricity.
In normal state, the primary power is working. If the primary power has to be trouble, such as power cut, over voltage, under voltage or phase failure, it automatically change over to the secondary power passed by the automatic controller, when recovering to the normal state, it returns to the primary power again. Meanwhile, if the secondary power has trouble, the controller will send out alarm to warn people to repair it timely.
