Horse hair is the long, coarse hair growing on the manes and tails of horses. It is used for various purposes, including upholstery, brushes, the bows of musical instruments, a hard-wearing fabric called haircloth.

 We never use any chemical solution to cleaning our tail hair in order to keep the original hair’s physical structure. That can make the horsetail hair used on Violin and Cello bow hair playing a high quality timbre.
